In a rapidly changing world we need to find new ways to engage with wicked problems and stimulate innovation. Design thinking is increasingly being used in the development sector as a problem solving tool for social Innovation and development. Design thinking is a deeply human and systematic creative process, methodology and set of tools used to explore, define and innovate around some of the world’s most pressing problems. Working with multidisciplinary teams, design thinking brings the stakeholders both internally and externally into the process and allows for multiple perspectives.

Objectives

The objective of the workshop is to provide an introduction to the design thinking and creative thinking process to solution finding and innovation. Participants will be exposed to the Key principles of design thinking.

· Prototyping
